Clinical Laboratory

Montclair Hospital Medical Services (MHMC) operates a complete clinical laboratory that offers various services. Among the laboratory’s vital services are Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, Immunology, and Blood Bank services to inpatient and ICU units. In addition, our laboratory provides vital diagnostic services to physicians and medical facilities throughout California, allowing them to provide patient-centered care.

The lab is fully computerized and managed by certified professionals dedicated to excellence. They provide patients with various diagnostic services, such as blood tests, urinalysis, radiology and ultrasounds, to encourage healthy living and disease prevention.

Microbiology: The Clinical Microbiology lab at MHMC is responsible for identifying and diagnosing bacterial, fungal, parasitic, viral, and mycobacterial infections using various laboratory techniques. It operates according to strict government guidelines and processes samples from inpatient wards, giving healthcare providers information about the patient’s condition. Our services range from traditional culture methods to advanced molecular testing to ensure that no case of infection goes undiagnosed in the patients.
Clinical Chemistry: The Clinical Chemistry laboratory at our facility is staffed by highly trained medical professionals who perform diagnostic testing continuously. We use state-of-the-art chromatography and mass spectrometry equipment to perform various tests. These tests range from routine evaluations to complex pharmacological and toxicological analyses.
